Our lab develops custom instrumentation to enable robust and reproducible high-throughput optogenetic experiments. The optoPlates are a series of devices that allow illumination of individual wells of microwell plates with full user control over the intensity and temporal pattern of up to three colors per well. The optoPlate-96 enables these experiments in 96- and 384-well plates can be adapted for illumination under a microscope or for long-term experiments in an incubator. A publication on this technology is in preparation, and the design files will be made available here for others to reproduce. Stay tuned!
